Muffinshire is a land where flour is always in stock and the air smells of baked goods stronger than the sea in port cities. Every morning here begins with a breakfast festival: locals gather in coffee shops and argue about whose muffin tastes better - blueberry, nut or chocolate. Obviously lemon. Oh well. It is believed that if you leave the house without crumbs on your clothes, the day will have been wasted.
Traditional Food:
"Blueberry Dawn Muffin – a classic blueberry muffin, a must for breakfast.
Cherry-Glazed Tea – tea with cherry glaze (slightly sweet, bright).
Ovenwarm Pudding – pudding served hot, straight from the oven."
Holidays:
December 15 - Festival of Warm Ovens - "On Ovenwarm Alley, bakers compete to see whose muffin stays warm the longest. Residents bring mittens to the ovens and warm their hands while they wait for fresh baked goods. There is a procession of ""Muffin Lanterns"" - lanterns in the shape of muffins are carried along the streets. In the evening, there is a communal tea party on Cherry laze Avenue, where colorful icing inscriptions are made on the pies."
