Turnipvale is a place where turnips are not just a vegetable, but a national idea. Here they make everything from them: soups, pies, candles, decorations, and even the local currency, which was called "turnips" in the old days. The valleys of the state stretch out in wide fields, where the soil is fertile, and the sun shines just enough for each bed to delight with a harvest. The locals are famous for their hospitality: no traveler will leave here hungry (at least they will definitely feed him with turnips). In Turnipvale they joke: "You may not like turnips, but turnips still love you."
Traditional Food:
"Golden Turnip Stew – soup with turnips, potatoes and greens.
Vale Harvest Bread – bread with pieces of baked turnips.
Turnip Ale – a light spicy drink based on fermented turnip juice."
Holidays:
September 30 - Festival of Roots - "The city is decorated with garlands of turnips and grains. A parade of carts with giant root vegetables is held. A competition: ""Whose turnip is heavier.""
