7 - Golden Melt Festival (Cheddarford)
"Everyone brings bread, vegetables or fruit to dip into the melted cheese. They hold a competition called ""Golden Thread"" - who can pull the longest cheese braid out of the hot mass. Musicians play on stage, and lanterns paint the square in golden light. In the evening, they hold dances called ""Melt Steps"" - locals laugh that their legs move like cheese threads."
9 - Purple Night (Plumridge)
The entire city is decorated with purple lanterns. People drink plum mulled wine, make wishes, and children go door-to-door for "plum sweets."
15 - Festival of Warm Ovens (Muffinshire)
"On Ovenwarm Alley, bakers compete to see whose muffin stays warm the longest. Residents bring mittens to the ovens and warm their hands while they wait for fresh baked goods. There is a procession of ""Muffin Lanterns"" - lanterns in the shape of muffins are carried along the streets. In the evening, there is a communal tea party on Cherry laze Avenue, where colorful icing inscriptions are made on the pies."
25 - Amber Night (Honeyswill)
Winter festival of light: the city is decorated with amber lamps, and residents drink hot mead and tell tales of giant bees.
30 - Winter Brew Eve (all states)
The main winter holiday: residents brew a huge communal cauldron of spiced tea, treating everyone who drops by.
31 - Wine & Winter Tales (all states)
In taverns they serve strong gooseberry wine and gather to tell tales and legends. Children are given sweet pies, adults warm themselves by the fires.
